When it comes to property tax appeals, you have a significant chance of winning when done correctly. Studies show 40% to 60% of appeals result in reductions. Some studies have that figure go to 70% for commercial properties!

Researchers report that reductions can reduce assessed value by 10% to 15%. Think of how much money stays in your bank account over time!

Learn how to set yourself up for winning your appeal. Attend the June 26th General Meeting on How to Appeal Your Property Taxes. Our speaker will be Dane Amundson, an Attorney from the Law Offices of Meyer Capel. Dane will guide us through the appeal process, deadlines, and legal strategies to ensure your property is assessed fairly.

Presentation: 12:00 - 1:00 pm

Location: Quad Room, I-Hotel (1900 S. 1st Street, Champaign, IL 61820)

Admission: $20 per person paid in advance/$25 paid at the door (either way, you must RSVP by June 20th)

Parking: Enter the lot on the facility's north side off of St. Mary's Road (across from State Farm Center). Placing 111 St. Mary's Road into your GPS will direct you to the correct lot. Enter the east wing doors with large windows near the back. Click here for a map showing parking and entry door.

At the conclusion, we will be holding a 50/50 raffle drawing that benefits The Salvation Army. Raffle tickets are 6 for $5 or $1 each.
